I've owned my Corsair H100iGTX for several years now. My CPU temperatures have been consistently high, even after cleaning the radiator and fans, resetting the CPU, and adjusting pump speed. The fans are still positioned correctly, and the liquid temperature is normal. Under load tests like Prime95, the CPU would spike to 97°C before shutting down some cores. Interestingly, when I increased the CPU frequency to 4.3GHz at 1.34V, temperatures remained stable. My system runs a Ryzen 9 3900X with an OC of 4.3GHz, paired with an RTX 2080 Ti and various components. I’m unsure why the temps keep rising despite these changes. The room temperature is around 18°C, yet issues persist. Would it be wise to replace my AIO cooler? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

It might be the AIO. Verify water flow, inspect bios or HWmonitor for pump status, and listen to the AIO during operation—ideally without fans. You should notice a soft hum and possibly vibrations in the tubes, either at startup or while running. If the issue persists, consider purchasing an affordable cooler like a Hyper 212 from Amazon and return it if it doesn’t resolve the problem.

Mount position for the radiator is best placed at the top or front, with tubes at the base if needed. The last time thermal goop was replaced depends on the specific product, but it's typically around 5 years.

Radiator is positioned at the summit of the tower, equipped with two 120mm fans that expel air from the setup. Thermal paste was applied there for approximately a year, yet the issue persists. After switching to a different thermal paste, the same problem continues. The AIO comes with a five-year warranty, so I'm uncertain whether to proceed with a return or replacement.

I checked using HWmonitor and confirmed the pump is running smoothly with stable RPM under load and fan speed. A minor humming was detected during startup, likely from the pump. I’ll test the Wraith cooler to observe any impact. Thanks!
