They’re exploring a different approach to storytelling, shifting away from traditional dialogue-heavy gameplay. It seems the developers might be integrating Batman into a broader DC universe setting, possibly as a supporting figure rather than the central character. The idea is to blend his iconic action style with more narrative-driven experiences, or even experiment with formats beyond typical games.
I’d rather play games with more action. They might have told the story before Batman existed, similar to how the series Gotham portrays it.
He should concentrate more on the investigative aspects of Batman.
It could turn into an intriguing game, though I worry it might fall short of a mediocre L.A. Noir with Batman. Still, back when they first revealed the Walking Dead title, I doubted its potential. Now it’s become one of my all-time favorite series.
Telltale must focus more effort on their first two projects and finish them fully before moving on to another game that looks similar to the previous one.
They somewhat match the vibe. Season 3 of The Walking Dead is in progress, along with Game of Thrones Season 2. Wolf Among Us may not see another installment because it’s mostly wrapped up. Tales from the Borderlands left things hanging, but the future for the series remains uncertain depending on Gearbox’s plans.
