You can turn off DHCP and NAT on the second router and operate it like a switch or AP if desired. Simply connect it to the existing ISP router. Your internet speed will be limited by your ISP plan, so you can't just upgrade to a faster router for personal use. If you need higher speeds for other areas of your home, consider using an additional router or dedicated AP.
