You're unsure about the latest driver updates for your Asus Prime B660M-K D4. The site shows newer versions than what the chipset supports, but the installer says your current drivers are better. Decide whether to proceed with the update or stick with what you have, considering the advice from Asus developers.

Have you ever observed Windows lagging during updates? It happens even when you don’t want them to. This might be because the Windows drivers are up-to-date, though that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re superior.

Consider your manufacturing process and the information available on their website. You can adjust settings to prevent automatic driver updates and enable standard updates instead.
