I recently purchased a used Linksys wrt1900ac v1. The seller had installed OpenWrt, and I’d like to use ddWRT instead. I thought I could simply reflash the stock firmware and then switch to ddWRT. That didn’t work at all. Each time I attempt to flash the original firmware, the router keeps trying to set up but blocks access to the login page. Anyone familiar with this model and openWrt setup can help? It’s a split partition system, so I’ve managed to restore it to a functional OpenWrt version without damaging the device.
