It's an enjoyable experience, but if you're not finding it fun anymore, continuing might not be worthwhile.

I think yes, but not as a competitive game. If you have some spare time and want to have some fun with your friends it's a good game to play.

You enjoy fast-paced action and taking down opponents. For those who prefer structured competition, the upcoming matchmaking should arrive soon—then it might be worth waiting. Right now, competitive play feels outdated and struggling to stay relevant.

It’s entirely your choice—700 hours can feel like a lot, and it’s okay to lose interest in anything, even your favorite games. What matters is your perspective on whether it’s worth it. Do you think it’s valuable? That’s what counts. Nothing else should matter.

I don’t believe it’s worth continuing. I began to lose interest around the 40-hour point. Would you say it’s still worth playing? Only you know if you still enjoy it.

I like to play occasionally, though things have really changed lately with the community weapons updates.

That isn't strategy though, that is more like mechanical skills. There is strategy in the game, but it's hard to find in public games where people are usually just doing their own thing. Actual use of strategy and tactics is found in competitive matches of smaller teams, they're very rarely played on 12 vs 12 servers. So unless you got some connection with a serious group, then you're kinda right. Might change with the matchmaking update though. To OP, you've played it a shit ton, it's natural to get bored of it. Wait for the matchmaking update and pick it up again when it comes.

It's only worthwhile if you're ready to compete or at least use some SEO and jump maps.
