Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing issues with my HP Omen 16 (16-b1777g). The shortcuts like Alt+Tab and Windows+Tab aren't working, and the task view button on the taskbar isn't responding. However, using the touchpad I can switch between windows and pressing Win+Space changes the keyboard layout. This suggests the task view might be disabled, but I can't restore it. Anyone know why this is happening? I'm using Windows Shell as a third-party app, but it seems unrelated. Thanks for your assistance!

Click the right mouse button on an open space in the Task Bar.
A menu with a gear icon and the option "Taskbar settings" will appear.
Choose that option.
Review the Personalization > Taskbar configuration settings.

I tried using a tool named Explorer patcher, but I noticed it was causing issues with TaskView earlier this year. This might be useful.
Right click start, select terminal (admin), if it doesn’t open as Powershell, choose the dropdown and pick it.
Paste this command into the window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
Press enter.
After it finishes, type SFC /scannow and press enter.
Restart the PC if the fix with SFC resolves any problems, since some fixes need a restart.
The first command cleans the files that SFC uses and then runs System File Checker.
SFC is the System File Checker. The first command runs DISM.
Check if you received any Windows updates before the issue began—you’re on the latest version, so an update likely occurred last week.
