Even if the problem isn't due to the operating system, it's still wise to perform a clean installation of Windows when moving between platforms, particularly here because you're transitioning from an Intel laptop to an AMD desktop—two quite distinct systems.

This also seems confusing... But overall, I think it's okay since it won't cause any harm. Still, the problem with TaskManager reporting incorrect numbers for Ryzens remains a known issue that Microsoft needs to address.
