Hello, I just returned from a week away. My PC is on but I’m having trouble accessing Task Manager and msconfig.msc. The temperature is currently 77°C. I’m using CapCut, Chrome, and a file upload, so I don’t want to break the upload. What should I do? I have a Ryzen 5 4500 with the stock AMD cooler.

It seems like a damaged Windows installation. You have two possibilities. First, run Command Prompt as Administrator and enter "sfc /scannow" to check for corrupted system files. Another approach is to reinstall Windows using a USB drive, which will erase everything but requires you to back up your data first.

It appears the system handled the corrupted files, successfully restoring the Task Manager and msconfig.msc.

It didn't display the desktop icons on Chrome for long, then it disappeared completely. The Task Manager remains unchanged.
