Talking about what I did with this setup
My PC has a great graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 9800X3D processor, and lots of RAM. I also have a decent motherboard with good cooling fans. The power supply unit works fine, but the graphics card (XFX RX 7900 XTX) is acting up because my old one broke down and didn't last long, so I replaced it now that it's under warranty. Everything else is okay: the CPU is strong enough for games like CS2, Dota 2, and Valorant, which run smoothly with low wattage and good frame rates in those titles. However, when playing Unreal Engine 5 games at 1440p settings on a native high refresh rate monitor, I can't get stable 60 FPS even though my system is set up for it.
Thanks for the info mate... How much did you pay for that 7900XTX? Did you buy it online? Funnily enough I've seen a jayztwocents video praising that exact XFX model, saying fans are good and easy to replace. It is totally ironic that yours ended up being an issue though.
I don't shop online. I go to gaming stores in Rp 15 million (about 15,000 thousand rupiah). That was a big lesson: pick your GPU brand carefully. XFX isn't as well-known as MSI, Gigabyte, or Asus. When playing games like Unreal Engine 5 with the wrong card, it feels really frustrating because the performance drops way too much.
Yeah, I prefer an XFX over everything else because they are the top choice for AMD graphics cards forever. On my own level, I steer clear of MSI items.
Hey there, so that computer looks pretty good and costs about right. You'll probably use it well for a couple of years before things get slow. But if you want the biggest screens or graphics cards on the market? Then maybe save up later instead. Just keep using it! If you decide to make one yourself, post your details here so we can look at them together.
