Talking About Improving Speed on Architectural Workstations: Tackling Slow PDF Processing and Archicad 24
Hello everyone, I recently helped a client with their PC by changing the thermal paste, adding a new SSD, and formatting the system. I asked for their feedback after some time of use. The client works a lot on architectural projects using Archicad 24, managing large PDF files with detailed plans. I installed a cracked Adobe Acrobat 64-bit version on their system, which has 32 GB of RAM and an i7 11700KF CPU. They’ve mentioned that PDF files are now glitching and the performance in Archicad has slowed down compared to before the upgrades. I’m wondering if using a cracked version might be affecting the PDF reader’s speed. Should I tweak settings or look for other solutions? Your thoughts would be very helpful. Thank you.
