Talk about the Razer Cortex Game Booster.
Beem has been hearing a lot about L3 cache lately, especially its role in gaming. Since the only way to really boost it is with a new CPU, I began exploring optimization tools. Razer Cortex caught my attention, so I downloaded it to test. I was impressed by the results—my average frame rate in Witcher 3 went from 50fps to 70fps after applying the optimizer. My current CPU has 32MB L3 cache, and I found a great deal on a 9,5900X with a 5700x3D. I’m hoping for even better gains with a 64MB L3 cache, possibly even more significant. I’m also considering upgrading to Windows 11.
There are various factors that influence performance. You might notice or not notice further enhancements. Please update your post with complete system hardware details and operating system information.
Specify the power supply unit: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?
Describe the disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, current usage?
List all connected peripherals.
Is the network wired or wireless?
Additional ideas and suggestions may come up, but the first step is to understand the full specifications of your gaming setup.
I haven't encountered any slowdown problems; I just wanted to highlight that this tool is effective for refining your memory without needing extra L3 cache, which I'm personally working on. Always prefer hardware over software to get the job done right.
