Talk about requiring high-quality RAM without RGB lighting effects
I am sending back: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM PC4-28800 DDR4 3600 CL16-19-19-39 1.35V Dual Channel Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. Seeking RAM without RGB lighting (no blue glow). Reason: Avoid any light interference with the dark environment; unless a method exists to disable RGB without disrupting PoE or Wake on LAN on your ROG Maximus XIII Hero (WiFi 6E, Intel 11th/10th Gen). Need compatible models or alternatives.
These Corsair Vengeance LPX modules might be the subject, or it could be searching for DDR4 RAM without heatsinks—sometimes referred to as bare or naked. Another option is managing the RGB lighting via the manufacturer's software, which lets you turn the lights on or off.
Right now, the Crucial Ballistix remains my top choice for non-RGB memory. It offers solid performance at a reasonable price, especially as the most affordable 3600MHz CL16 setup.
G. Ability Ripjaws V are not RGB and include attractive heat sinks in colors like red and black.
These Skill Trident Z sticks are also excellent options. I own the exact collection, actually having three of these: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (two 8GB units) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel Z170 / Z270 / Z370 / X299 Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GTZKW available on Newegg.com. They’re non-RGB and perform well when clocked. Plus, they’re reasonably priced. If you need a 16x2 configuration: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB DDR4 3600 RAM is suitable.
