It's disappointing that today's games prevent me from adjusting the game window size, making everything feel restricted because of "cheating" concerns. This also prevents people like me from recording gameplay. OBS doesn't show an in-game indicator, so I have to check the small icon taskbar to confirm if I'm recording. On the other hand, Bandicam doesn't work well with Starfield either. I need to resize my game window because it's really difficult to use windowed mode these days. Windowed mode hides the OBS icon on the system tray since it fills the screen every time, and fullscreen mode is no longer available due to DX12 issues. I can't click the standard screen icon on the window because it's either grayed out or not clickable, as my mouse doesn't reach that area.

Any suggestions on how to force the game window to resize? I'd like to avoid using keyboard shortcuts like alt tab or enter, which can harm my GPU as I've experienced before. Please help me out... I don't need fancy features like flying cars—I just want to use my computer and games.

Are there any feasible solutions when employing two monitors? Could a project combining WIN and P work with duplex or extended mode?

Which GPU do you own? If it's an Nvidia model, ShadowPlay functions well for me, and I recently used it in Starfield without any issues.
