I have Windows 8.1 on my Asus ROG G750JM. I recently reinstalled it and began downloading drivers. After finishing, I installed software like Google Chrome and Steam to verify everything was working. I ran CSGO as a GPU test; it functioned normally. Once Minecraft was set up, the game would crash immediately without launching, displaying an error message about an unexpected issue. The game log provided minimal details, only showing a launch failure at 15:45:22. I attempted to use older versions and even a modpack, but none resolved the problem. It also crashed when trying to install Portal 2, which is working correctly now. I've tried four games so far—CSGO and Binding of Isaac Rebirth are the only ones that work. I'm currently downloading Portal 2 to check compatibility. Anyone know what's going on? Could be related to my Windows 8.1 setup? Something might be missing.
