I have a flower with a 650 W power supply and a 10-year warranty. It's an Asus motherboard, the 450 tough model, with 16 GB of RAM. Every day it powers on, but the fans don’t work. Instead, RGB lights appear on the motherboard. I tried connecting one of the plastic connectors to the power and ground pins on the board to bypass the power button in the case—red for positive, black and red for negative. But nothing happens. Any suggestions?
I’m not excluding psu, but there’s no extra gear needed unless we skip the power button on the case that didn’t work, assuming everything is set correctly.
I’m planning to run the PSU test, but at the moment mtb won’t do anything. For power mtb, I’ll check the RGB lights even though I have proof from Newegg for purchase. They’re asking for a serial number, so I need to remove the Atx power cable and look elsewhere. I won’t be buying Asus again.
