I encountered a complete lockout of my PC right after launching it. No crashes occurred; I had opened Discord and Steam manually, but the system locked itself without any warning. When I rebooted, the Discord installer was damaged and refused to start. After reinstalling, everything functioned properly. I’d read somewhere that Discord’s hardware acceleration sometimes leads to problems. My GOU driver was updated in January 2024, and it’s stable, so I didn’t update it. There were no crash dumps or BSODs reported. Could this be a hardware problem or just a typical Windows issue?

Check Windows EventViewer for details. Overclocking isn't recommended unless you're experienced. Persistent freezing might point to a disk problem.
