System upgraded to SSD. Operating system issues persist.
I recently upgraded my setup with a Samsung M.2 500gb and a 1TB SATA SSD, replacing the WD blue 1TB drive. I attempted to move Windows to the M.2 slot but the software only accepted it for the SATA SSD. After some troubleshooting, I managed to get Windows running from the SATA drive, and I cleared the old WD drive completely. The system booted normally a few times before I encountered issues. Now when I try to launch Windows, nothing appears—first it shows the lock screen, then a black screen. I restarted and ended up in recovery settings. I’ve tried everything except the command prompt and a full wipe. Microsoft didn’t seem to have any solutions either. Please help, everyone. -Harrison
It seems you're trying to locate the boot settings but aren't sure which drive is being used. There might be a way from the recovery menu, though most options are failing except for a full wipe. The command prompt isn't clear to me either. Let me know if you need further help!
I understand you're upset. You were really worried but didn't check the right spot. Thanks for reaching out to @Radium_Angel.
