Sure thing. Here’s a clearer version:

I upgraded my CPU from Ryzen 5 1600 to Ryzen 7 5700X using an MSI X570-A pro board. After updating BIOS and drivers, the system would start but wouldn’t post. My friend helped by installing Ryzen Master, which resolved the issue under load. Once it worked at home a few times, I brought it back and it started reliably about five times. However, when I plugged it in at home again, it stopped working. I checked for loose components and cables, but everything seems fine. I’m puzzled since the parts should be compatible.

It seems the system restarts immediately and functions normally with the Ryzen 5 1600, even after reinstalling. There appears to be no damage or issues.

Which cooler is being used? Was the PC positioned horizontally or upright during testing?

The cooler measures 240mm in diameter and is made by Corsair. I've checked the system in both horizontal and upright positions.

When I say "not posting," it means the fans spin and the RGB lights activate, yet nothing shows up on the screen. I’m sure the monitors, keyboard, and mouse are powered on and connected. I tested both DP and HDMI cables from my RTX 2070, even though I don’t believe Ryzen has built-in graphics, so I checked the motherboard’s HDMI port just in case. I should also note that the "EZ debug" LED lights on the motherboard aren’t giving much information—they flicker briefly at startup but don’t stay on to signal a problem.

The PC is running with a sagging GPU due to a loose screw in the case. The CPU indicator lights up initially but then changes to the video output indicator and remains there. I’ve inspected the PCIe connector on the riser cable and the GPU itself on the riser.

It's likely a small indicator light that stays on due to a software or hardware issue.

It seems the CPU debug indicator is on. Are you sure the BIOS update completed successfully?

It seems challenging to take out the riser. I wonder if it was a factor in the outcome or if the PC performed adequately with it during your friend's playtime.
