I've faced this problem for roughly two months and it's quite unpredictable. Every couple of weeks, I enter my office and my PC prompts me to restart and choose the correct boot device or insert the right media before pressing any key. The only solution to switch from Legacy to UEFI and update BIOS is resetting the CMOS. This approach has consistently succeeded, and I've attached screenshots of the interface and BIOS changes after each reboot. Remedies tried include updating drivers, replacing the CMOS battery with a known good one, ensuring the boot order is correct, using Windows 11, and verifying hardware details such as Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 WiFi F64 Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super 32.0.15.8097, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 10.0.26100.5074, and 64GB RAM. Disclaimer: the drivers shown are a snapshot after clearing the CMOS.

No, it doesn't occur immediately after cutting power. The BIOS reset happens when you switch off the power supply, not just turn it off. This behavior could be related to DualBIOS settings.

If the system powers off incorrectly or the power source fails, it interprets this as an error and activates the most suitable boot configuration. With Secureboot becoming standard for Windows booting, this approach no longer functions properly. Verify whether your motherboard supports the newest BIOS version—they might have fixed this issue. An alternative is connecting the computer to a UPS (backup power) to prevent power interruptions. Let me know if this assists.

@Bios updated for secondary bios as needed. This may occur when main and secondary BIOS versions vary.
