System unexpectedly shutting down or restarting randomly
i do as well, i made sure bios is all updated and it lasted 30-40 minutes and it did it again then it did it a couple of times back to back i wish there was a way i figure out the exact trigger but i believe it’s just something out of my control
when conditions are favorable, RAM modules and SSDs perform well even if they're outdated. the only components to consider are the power supply unit or motherboard. if the PSU is about 5 to 6 years old, it should still function properly. based on my experience, PSUs typically fail around 8+ years. since the motherboard is brand new from a fresh return/replacement, the issue likely lies with the PSU or CPU at this stage.
I’d opt for an SSD upgrade first instead of upgrading the CPU. Even a basic and affordable silicon power SSD would suffice, solving the problem without spending heavily on a new CPU. If that doesn’t work, just return it and purchase the CPU later.
depends on how the BIOS handles an SSD being removed abruptly. If you install an SSD for certain reasons and it disconnects unexpectedly, your BIOS might react negatively and crash. I’m not sure what exactly would happen in such a situation—I haven’t tested it myself. I’ve never set up a test bench, which is why I don’t have the right equipment. A cheap 1TB SSD can be easily replaced, but you should avoid storing anything larger than that for a quick check inside.
