System unexpectedly halting due to random shutdown.
Details: CPU model Ryzen 9 5950x, GPU Gigabyte 3080 ti, power supply EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5, 80+ GOLD 1000W RAM, RAM configuration G.SKILL Trident Z RGB Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 1.35V, motherboard GIGABYTE B550M AORUS PRO-P. Occurrence: During gaming, especially in Minecraft, the PC frequently shuts down after reaching high frame rates. Capping frames at 165 prevents shutdown, but during Elden Ring a 20-minute offline session led to a shutdown. Upon restarting, the PC freezes with no video input or audio, yet RAM color remains active. Possible causes include faulty RAM, power supply issues, or motherboard problems.
First, verify that your RAM is correctly placed in the slots—remove it, then reinsert it firmly.
It might be all, but I don't believe the LEDs on the RAM stay lit unless the RAM receives power. The lights on my RAM remain active even when the computer is in standby mode.
I discovered a fix! It’s hard to play games when the AC is running (it uses a lot of electricity and I’m in an apartment).
