System starts up via BIOS yet blocks Windows installation or boot process.
I set up a bootable USB to install Windows 10 on a new SSD after Windows 11 began to malfunction on my old drive. It seemed functional until the first restart, then it would load the ASUS loading screen and reset the system. I can access BIOS every time, but resetting it to defaults didn’t help. Trying USB first or placing the M.2 drive first caused a looping boot. The device connected is a bootable USB with a WD Black M.2_1 500GB SSD. The motherboard is ASUS PRIME x570-P v.4021, equipped with a Ryzen 9 3900X, Corsair 32GB DDR4 RAM, Gigabyte 2080 power supply, and Corsair RM850x.
I attempted to boot Ubuntu from USB and encountered several errors. This suggests a potential CPU-related issue.
