System starts up through BIOS, OS remains unavailable.
My system boots into BIOS without issues, but when trying to start the OS it appears only partially and freezes. I attempted several fixes: removed all unnecessary hard drives, used a bootable USB, reset BIOS settings for PCIe power cycles, checked the GPU and motherboard for damage, and cleaned the PC after a regular maintenance session. The issues began following my usual biannual cleaning. Hardware: Aorus B550M AMD R5 3600 Red Devil RX580 with 8GB/16GB RAM (G-Skill 3600 + Crucial Balistix 2666), some Cooler Master 650W PSU.
You're watching a video about starting a computer from a USB drive without any operating system yet installed. The screen only shows your mouse and/or keyboard connected, and a flash drive is present. This situation can involve both software and hardware problems, making it difficult to resolve without more details. Have you considered resetting the BIOS settings? Disconnecting and unplugging the PC for 5-10 minutes might help. If the issue persists, try removing the GPU (if integrated), keeping only the CPU, one RAM stick, drives, and the power supply connected. Updating your BIOS could also be an option, but be aware of potential risks. I don’t have further advice on this matter. Good luck fixing it!
