System starts up but screen remains off.
Hello. I brought a friend's computer to check because it doesn’t display anything. I tried several fixes: clearing RAM, changing RAM slots, using different RAM, resetting the BIOS, and testing the power supply. I switched the GPU, RAM, and SSD to another machine and it booted with a display. During EZdebug startup, the CPU LEDs flashed briefly before turning off. My thought is the motherboard might be faulty. I don’t know the exact CPU model (it’s an older Ryzen 3), but it appears to have Vega graphics, which also won’t show anything. Motherboard: MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS. RAM: 1X8 GB Kingstone GPU: GTX1050 Thank you for your assistance everyone.
The CPU indicator blinks briefly and then halts, suggesting an issue with the processor rather than the circuit board. To confirm, you'll need a working CPU or a reliable reference board.
Thank you for the update. It doesn't activate immediately; it only turns on when powered on and then shuts off afterward.
Thanks for the update! I plan to switch the PSU tonight. I've tested both DVI and HDMI on the GTX1050, but they don't work on your friend's PC while they do on mine. It seems like the issue isn't with the GPU or monitor. I should inspect the cables in the PSU. I ran a test on it and attached this photo. What are the chances the CPU is damaged? Honestly, I suspect the motherboard might be the problem.
