Hey there, so your computer has been acting weird lately. It worked just fine at first, but after a while it would crash. Even though everything was connected properly, the CPU, VGA, and DRAM lights stayed on. I checked forums and thought maybe the power supply unit was the issue, but after rebuilding, updating BIOS, adding thermal paste, and trying different RAM setups, nothing fixed it. I’m still not sure and don’t want to waste money on a new PSU unless I’m certain. Your specs look solid—CPU Ryzen 7 3700X, good motherboard, decent RAM, GPU, storage, and power supply. What should I do next?

Unplug the SATA HDD (Seagate). Disconnect the SATA cable. Reset the CMOS then restart the system.

This usually isn't a power supply issue, particularly with the motherboard warning lights on. It’s more likely a CPU problem—look for bent or broken pins.

It’s probably not the CPU. If he used it for two months, there’s a low chance it would fail suddenly unless it was overclocked beyond safe limits.

It's a 3700X, probably over two months old. The latest models might date back to 2021... Previous attempts with RAM didn't help—maybe the issue is with the CPU or board.

It's been here for a long time, but I've only ever done auto-overclocking, not anything extreme. There are no bent pins, and it sometimes starts up. I have a backup board ready if you want to give it a try.

Have you attempted to remove the HDD and checked its performance? If it functions properly, that indicates the issue lies elsewhere.

I turned off the power and SATA connection of the HDD, and it started up for the first time. After rebooting, I accessed the BIOS and noticed the EZ Debug Light remains active on the CPU.

Bios LED issues are probably not a problem. It might only appear in the operating system. Consider resetting CMOS to check if that resolves it.

I previously adjusted the CMOS settings, but I found a suggestion online about swapping the battery to fix the problem. I plan to test it and share the outcome.
