Hello, PC specialists here. I've been using this dual-boot setup on two SSDs for a while now, everything worked fine. Two issues emerged: first, the drives are filling up quickly—do SSDs slow down when that happens? Second, 10% of space is reserved on both drives for Windows restoration. Boot time has increased from 30 seconds to 90 seconds, which is quite frustrating and might confuse other troubleshooting steps. The Event Viewer showed driver errors related to the card reader, but I couldn't determine the exact date they started. The internal card reader on the MB USB 2.0 still lags. Any advice? Thanks, C.R.

Google/Android isn't your parent, guardian, instructor, or source of support. Have you explored a different search engine? Which section of PC Expert did you misunderstand?

SSDs slow down when full since they can't utilize the cache effectively. Have you performed a basic SSD health check using CrystalDiskInfo? Are you clearing TRIM regularly? Honestly, unless you're not comfortable with forum discussions, it's worth asking why you bother seeking advice. Please send me an authenticated CS diploma if you'd like.

I rely on your statement since dishonest people eventually falter. Well-being is important, keep running from dashboards, work in both window versions. Just wanted to skip public opinions and self-proclaimed experts like that person above. If the truth is harsh, fine with it.

He responded based on a commonly known point, aiming to assist. Some might think it needed deeper details, but our goal isn't scientific proof. We're open to asking about SSD speed specifics politely instead of just basic questions. A simple yes would suffice for me.

I already stated my reasons, please don't put words in my mouth or try to undermine my statements. Yes, I did want experts reply with something that is a certainty.

I'm not aware of any specific papers on YouTube garbage collection disposal algorithms. The topic seems quite niche and may not have widely published research.
