A Windows update ran last night and your PC started booting but then shut down repeatedly until you turned off the power. The BIOS screen shows up on the monitor but the system turns off again. The C drive also fails to power on, and none of your USB devices receive power. All fans seem to be working normally. What could be causing this?
Do you need the power supply unit functioning properly? With integrated graphics, check the GPU to determine if booting is possible.
The power supply is likely outdated and may need replacement soon. I’ve experienced similar issues before, so it’s probably a good idea to swap it out.
Check around the PSU... if you detect a burnt dust odor, it’s likely best to replace it before other components are affected.
