System starts more slowly following BIOS modification
I had to upgrade my BIOS on my MSI B450 Gaming Plus to the newest release for NVMe compatibility, but now I'm experiencing 20-22 second boot times (Windows is running on the new NVMe). This is slower than the previous 13-15 seconds with the SATA SSD. I checked if removing the SATA SSD and HDD helped, but it didn’t. Even when I connected only the SATA SSD, the issue persisted. I also tried disconnecting the NVMe and hard drive entirely, but results remained unchanged. I suspect the problem might be related to my motherboard, as boot times are slow (14 seconds), though they drop to under 5 minutes once the boot splash appears with the MSI logo. I only have one small program during startup, CSM is off, UEFI is enabled, and fast boot isn’t available in the BIOS. I’ve tried almost everything—please let me know if you can assist! Thanks ahead.
