System specs for Far Cry 4
Ubisoft has announced the PC requirements for Far Cry 4. The essential system specs include Windows 7 SP1 or later, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit only), an Intel Core i5-750 at 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 at 3.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM), Direct X 11, and at least 30 GB of storage. The game also needs a compatible sound card with the latest drivers.
680/290x looks sensible, yet the premium AMD option stands out for a valid reason.
Looking at the comparison, it seems the GTX 680 should match a higher-end model like the 7970 or 280X. That’s what you’d expect.
It seems they're reportedly collaborating closely with NVIDIA to improve the PC version—details will become clearer soon.

They continue to dig that hole for the job I didn’t want this game. I’m not sure if my low-end 280x wc could handle it, lol.
It's confusing why a 290x card is considered optimal for AMD. I'm not sure how many cards are better than that. I think Ubisoft is becoming a problem for me.
It doesn't meet the system requirements because it needs a specific console to run.
