Ubisoft has announced the PC requirements for Far Cry 4. The essential system specs include Windows 7 SP1 or later, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit only), an Intel Core i5-750 at 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 at 3.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM), Direct X 11, and at least 30 GB of storage. The game also needs a compatible sound card with the latest drivers.

Looking at the comparison, it seems the GTX 680 should match a higher-end model like the 7970 or 280X. That’s what you’d expect.

They continue to dig that hole for the job I didn’t want this game. I’m not sure if my low-end 280x wc could handle it, lol.

It's confusing why a 290x card is considered optimal for AMD. I'm not sure how many cards are better than that. I think Ubisoft is becoming a problem for me.
