System shuts down repeatedly, then fails to power on multiple times before starting successfully.
Hello everyone, here are my PC details: i5-12400, Asus B660M-A D4 WIFI, 2x8GB 3200MHZ, ASUS TUF 6800 XT, MSI A850GF, Team MP33 1TB, Phanteks P360A. My situation: yesterday the system started normally but now it randomly restarts frequently after boot, sometimes within minutes. It keeps failing to power on multiple times before finally launching. I've tried several fixes: updated the Wi-Fi drivers hoping to improve Diablo 4 ping, but that didn't help. Then I rolled back to the previous drivers version, which still causes random reboots. I also used DDU AMD drivers and updated Windows, but memory issues persist in games. The PC components were purchased about eight months ago, with the last cleaning around six months back. Room temperature is comfortable (22-25°C), dust seems minimal on visible parts, and the GPU was used but clean. It’s been running for at least 30 hours now, mostly idle except for Diablo 4 sessions. I’m not looking to influence opinions, just want your thoughts on what might be causing this problem. Thanks in advance!
Remove all PSU power cables, then reattach them. Repeat for GPU and RAM connections. Attempt again. If it still works, try a different PSU. The challenge lies in ensuring all components are properly connected and tested. A complete OS reinstall may be necessary.
