Over the past while my computer has unexpectedly rebooted during certain games like Forza Horizon 5. Recently I purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, and as soon as I launched it, the machine restarted before I even opened the program. I’m puzzled by this behavior—my CPU isn’t hot, my GPU isn’t overheating, and all drivers are current. I can’t test if the power supply is struggling because the PC shuts down before I can check HWMonitor. I own a Ryzen 5 5600X with an RTX 2070 Super and a 650W 80+ Gold EVGA PSU.
It acted the same when my very old PSU started failing, so you might want to replace it with a new one if you have one or try to recover the faulty one.
You recently bought and set up a new power supply unit, but the issue persists.
