Hello everyone, I’ve been dealing with this issue for roughly a month now. Recently, I replaced my old GTX 980 with an ARC 750 and since then, whenever I restart the system in Windows, the screen goes black and nothing happens. A hard reset through the case button works, but the problem persists. Last night and this morning I disassembled the whole computer, rebuilt it, and installed a fresh Windows 11 on a brand new NVMe drive. The issue still exists. I also swapped the ARC for an old RX270 card, but the same problem continues with that one as well. After removing the SATA card and disconnecting all other connections, there was no improvement. I’ve checked for any short circuits and everything seems fine. As mentioned earlier, the system powers on and boots through the case buttons, but the Windows reset fails.

Specs: AMD Ryzen 3900X, Asus x570-P (latest firmware), 96 GB RAM, Intel ARC 750, Sandisk 480GTB SSD, Team Group 480GB SSD, SATA PCIe x1 card, 8-port card, Corsair HX850i, PSU.

I encountered this problem with Windows 10 and 900-series Nvidia cards as well—it seemed to be intentionally turning them off. Switching to a 580 resolved the issue.
