Hello, your PC experiences random freezes and significant lag during gaming, plus it feels sluggish in everyday tasks. Switching tabs in Chrome can take a moment or two. Task manager often shows GPU usage at 100% even when not in stress, then drops back quickly. This isn’t a problem from a new build. Here’s what you’ve tried: refreshed Windows, swapped SSDs, changed GPU, updated PSU and BIOS, ran MemTest86 with no errors, and updated drivers. Any further advice?

Did you review your RAM consumption? Occasionally it surpasses 16GB. If it does, your storage might be using more than it should. Perhaps... Edited July 25, 2023 by leclod

I'll keep an eye on it, ensuring it stays under 16GB during light use.

RockTheHellOut 2 hours prior some suggestions to consider. Verify the AMD chipset driver is installed and refreshed. https://www.amd.com/en/support Use DDU to remove GPU drivers and reinstall the newest version. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html Apply MSI Live Update and look for GPU BIOS updates. https://www.msi.com/page/live-update-5-manual/ Experiment with default BIOS settings, turn off DOCP and disable Core Performance Boost (CBP), observe if the issue persists. This resolved it. Paste from /r/techsupport
