Evening, I've seen my CPU stuck at 100% with nothing running. I did a complete Windows 11 reinstall and updated the BIOS and drivers, then booted into safe mode still at full load. I disconnected all drives and did it again with fresh install and new drivers, but it still stayed at 100%. I turned off all startup apps (even though none are installed) and ran Windows Defender offline—it found nothing. I'm a bit stuck on what might be causing this; any suggestions would be great. My system is a Ryzen 7 5800X GTX 1660 Super B550 MSI Tomahawk.

The task manager doesn't provide sufficient information, particularly because it's consuming 75% of the processor. You may want to verify with Aida64 or HWinfo if it remains at 100% usage. It's unusual for the processor to be at 100% while running at 4.63GHz; this isn't typical sustained load frequency. Good luck!
