I recently purchased a preassembled PC. A friend recommended building one myself, but I believed it would be too complicated and now face the results. It functioned smoothly for about two weeks until the machine restarted itself unexpectedly. It became stuck in a loop where the PC starts, runs the OS briefly, and then powers off again. I've also attempted to use a USB as a boot source, but the system still restarts. The purchase came with a free Windows trial, yet the current operating system is Linux Mint 21.1. My known parts are: - Motherboard: Biostar B450NH - CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G - RAM: 8GB DDR4 3200MHz (single stick) - Drive: SATA3 Kingston 240GB SSD - Power supply: Evotec 600W I sometimes see a message screen similar to the one shown, but I’m unsure what it means. I’ll check the replies for more details or assistance.

Did you modify your BIOS recently? Also, could you attempt to boot using acpi=off to determine if it resolves the problem? You’ll locate detailed steps for this here.

Wait, it hasn’t even passed twenty minutes and you’ve fixed an issue I’ve had for a month? I disabled the acpi setting and your machine started working right away. Thanks!
