System restarts during Warzone launch attempts
Warzone functioned properly before the recent update. Now launching causes the screen to go black and the PC to restart. System details: CPU Ryzen 5800X, motherboard Asus TUF X570 Pro, 64GB RAM at 3600MHz (model unclear), RTX 3090 GPU, EVGA 750W power supply. I’m uncertain about next steps. Previously stable games like Cyberpunk and Witcher 3 ran without issues. The update appears to have caused problems with the game. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the Battlenet client, as well as updated graphics drivers.
750 watts is the lowest power needed for an RTX 3090 as well.
Psu is an Evga 750 G5 Supernova and its latest model. I purchased it a few months prior to the rest of the PC since Psu parts were scarce at that time. At the time, I was aiming for a 3080 and ended up getting a 3090 when the chance arose. I had some concerns about the 3090 reviews. I already have a larger one in my server that could be swapped, but that’s not my favorite part of building PCs.
Did you turn on XMP/DOCP in your memory module, or did you only adjust the frequency to 3200 while keeping all other settings unchanged?
Viper I had the same issue and have JUST resolved it. I have just gotten a new pc with very similar specs to you. Have you checked to see if your BIOS is up to date. That was the issue with mine. It had been installed into the pc but not updated. I had to go through the ASUS support website, download AI Suite 3 and the update. Here is an instructional video https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1012152/ I hope this helps! I have been on all day trying to fix this so I know how frustrating it can be.
