System restarting now.
Hi, after four months with my new PC it was working fine. Recently I kept seeing BSODs and the GPU failed completely. I changed to integrated graphics but still faced issues even with a low-GPU game. Then I added a GTX 970 from my old machine, which instead of fixing things caused the PC to restart. After swapping the PSU to the other unit (EVGA 600b-bronze), it seemed to help temporarily. But after some gaming sessions the system would reboot again. Now the GPU fans spin but stop when I boot Windows or log in. It seems like both the PSU and possibly the motherboard are involved. Current setup includes a Ryzen 5 7600X, GTX 970, 2x 6400MHz DDR5 RAM, 16GB SSD, Windows 11, and a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB drive. The PSU is an EVGA 600b-bronze.
Try accessing the system in safe mode and eliminate the Nvidia drivers.
I successfully accessed the system and played a light game. The GPU fans didn’t turn on even when I tried a more demanding game; temperatures exceeded 60°C and the GPU ran at full capacity. After uninstalling all NVIDIA drivers, I encountered errors about insufficient disk space (over 900GB free on one drive, 1.8TB on another) or a corrupted download file. I’m currently searching for the correct driver files to retry the installation.
