System powers up, shuts down briefly, then restarts following the BIOS update.
Hey there! I noticed some strange behavior after updating your BIOS. The PC keeps restarting every time you press the power button—just a brief on/off cycle. After flashing, it worked fine once and then would power up for half a second before shutting down for about five seconds. I’ve checked other forums and thought it might be related to the power supply, especially since I upgraded from version 7C84v14 to 7C84v18. Here’s a link to your parts list and a video showing what’s happening:
Does it read your RAM correctly? Tried clearing cmos and not turning on XMP? Btw, AGESA 1.2.0.5 is known as one of the bad. AGESA 1206c is a good one, so I'd recommend upgrading to the latest bios. Don't consider it bad although it's named a Beta bios. 7C84v191 There's also a new firmware for the RGB https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X570...t#firmware
It correctly reads my RAM. I’ll look into the firmware update and modify the BIOS when possible. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll revise this post if the issue is resolved.
It tried once more... I refreshed the BIOS and RGB settings, and they’re performing the same action again.
Confirming the setup was done with the previous versions prior to the flash.
