Yesterday I changed several parts of my PC. Previous: i5-9600k, rog z390-i, 16gb ddr4 New: i5-13600k, rog z690-i, 32gb ddr5 The upgrade was difficult and I faced many SSD issues. My old motherboard had a raid 0 setup which clashed with the new one on my new board. After a secure erase on Asus, the drives functioned properly. During Windows 10 installation, I needed to download Intel Rapid Storage software in the setup to recognize the drives. Everything worked until today when it suddenly shut down without warning—no blue screen or event viewer alerts. Sometimes I can't even start Windows and it crashes randomly. Temperatures are normal. It boots into BIOS fine but then goes black instantly, never trying to reboot. Only restarts after power cycle. Any advice? Thanks!

The reboot process often involves removing the power cord, which can indicate the power supply unit is overloaded or malfunctioning.

Yes, simply turning it on and off restarts it.

The actual power control? That’s essentially the same as disconnecting the outlet—it stops the electricity only when the system’s safety features activate.

Yes, the switch you are correct. I had a stretch of about 3 days where it was fine but now, it is doing it again. But it goes straight into a restart. No need to touch PSU
