System powers off unexpectedly—first restart will trigger faults.
I underwent a thorough test of all hardware after replacing the MSI board. The AsRock A320M-HDV R4.0, Ryzen 5 2600, and other components were freshly verified on an ASUS B350M-K. I installed a fresh Windows 10 version, renamed the PC, and performed every necessary restart. Everything worked perfectly without any issues. After completing all steps, I powered off the system. The shutdown process was unusual—brief flashes appeared before it stopped abruptly, like a hard reset. Even after nearly two decades of Windows since '98, the experience felt unsettling. The cooling fan made loud noises, and the cooler unit emitted a high-pitched whine. Eventually, I restarted again to investigate further. The error message in the Event Manager read: "Kernel Power 41 (63)." It appears this issue can occur after unexpected shutdowns. I’m not sure if I should ignore it or address it further.
