I worked with my PC for a few days to replace the CPU cooler fan and install a StarTech PCIE USB card. I also added a new Motu M4 audio interface and installed its driver. Everything seemed to function normally so far. Requirements: Windows 11, 7950x3D, 7900XTX Nitro+, Team Group T-Create 64GB 6400MHz, NZXT N7 B650E motherboard, Lian Li Edge 1000W Platinum, 2 x 1TB SN880X drives. Issue: Whenever I power off via the Windows menu or the front panel button, all lights shut down except the GPU, which turns off normally. When it clicks to start, it immediately clicks again as if just pressed the power button, and it restarts every boot or hibernation. It happens even when I hibernate for one minute. To exit it, I have to press the power button to shutdown or switch off the PSU. At this point, I’m desperate to try something new—changing the motherboard or PSU seems like a last resort. I’ve tried: updating drivers (sfc /scannow, dism.exe), adjusting power settings, disabling USB/PCIe wake, uninstalling the card driver, using Revo Uninstaller, booting in safe mode, checking BIOS settings, and even trying Linux Mint on a different drive. Nothing worked. I’m also testing disabling USB and PCIE wake-up features, downgrading BIOS from 3.15 to 2.08 (the one I’ve used for months), resetting CMOS, and booting in normal mode. If I can’t fix it, I’ll consider hardware changes or a PSU swap.
