System performance is decreasing.

Hey everyone, my computer has been acting sluggish over the past few days and it feels like it only has two weeks left. For example, moving windows around makes it lag and jump around, and some apps take longer to launch or even crash. The specs are: Gigabyte UD4 motherboard, i7 5280K CPU, 8GB RAM, HyperX 8G 2133MHz GPU, 980MB HDD, Seagate 2TB SSD, and an 850W cooler. Windows is version 8.1. Hope someone can assist me, and let me know if you have any more details.

Have you cleared your hard drive? Have you run a malware check? Did you verify if your computer is occupied by a slow process in the task manager?

I don't have personal experiences, but typically you would check your system's settings or recent activity logs to find out when the last time you cleaned installed windows.
