Hello, your setup is experiencing performance issues when running games and videos together. The system becomes unstable with jittery behavior and static noise, similar to poor Wi-Fi. Despite checking your performance regularly, no clear cause appears. Your PC was recently formatted, which might help. Additionally, when you put it to sleep for the night, it won’t respond until you manually restart it. You’re using Windows 10 with a Platinum 1350W PSU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, and a high-end Ryzen 9 5900X. RAM is Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Memory performance in many programs is labeled as half speed. DDR stands for Dual Data Rate, meaning you need to increase the clock speed by two times to achieve the actual rate of 3600. Is YouTube displayed on a second screen? For some reason, the Nvidia driver encounters difficulties with dual displays. If your secondary monitor runs at 60Hz and your main is around 144Hz, refreshing at 60Hz on the secondary can cause major issues on the primary screen. This happens often for me. Turning off hardware acceleration in my browser helped a bit, but it didn’t fully resolve the problem. As far as I know, there’s no solution available.

Thank you for the update. It’s working well on the second monitor, and since your main display is 144Hz, you likely won’t need an AMD GPU unless performance issues arise.

I turned off hardware acceleration in Chrome and played all my YouTube videos at 480p to avoid them refreshing at 60fps. It usually works for me, though it's a bit annoying. Switching to an AMD GPU was less convenient. Just a note, the issue isn't certain to disappear with AMD either; their driver can still have this problem sometimes. I'd find it really frustrating to switch and still face the same issue.

You're right, I'll aim for a more concise approach. Upgrading soon is on the list if GPU costs drop; otherwise, I'll stick with what I have and see if you can help.
