Hello everyone, I'm quite confused about this situation. I set up this system at the end of last year and it has been functioning properly. Suddenly, after a few hours of use, during a YouTube video, everything stopped abruptly. When I tried to restart it, it went to the loading screen and then shut down again. After leaving it for a while, I re-entered the BIOS and noticed the CPU temperature was near 108, which is higher than the usual 38-40. I removed the cooler and reapplied thermal paste, but it still worked. Since it had been off for some time during that process, it lasted longer. The fans are spinning up now, including the VRM fan. Is there a way to verify if the pump is operating correctly? I'm struggling to figure out what might have changed after almost two months of use, and this seems like a sudden failure. Any advice would be really appreciated!

It seems there was an issue with the AIO's pump.

It seems you're concerned about a situation. Could you clarify what you're referring to so I can help you better?

You'll need to return it for repair if that's the case. As soon as you power up the device, notice the pump or block and tubes at the top—if they warm up rapidly, it likely means the unit is faulty.

Does the system freeze when booting from BIOS? If not, can you view your pump's RPMs? If they show 0, your pump might be nonfunctional. Make sure the pump is securely plugged in and the cable isn't disconnected. If it's definitely dead, reach out to Arctic for a replacement.

They don't seem to be heating up quickly. I did notice when I was checking it before, though, that it was hot but it had been in use for a couple of hours at that point so I guess that's fairly normal. I did manage to get a quick look and it was showing high numbers. I turned on Full Speed to try and buy a bit more time and it was at 1700. The pump and fans are controlled by the same cable so if the fans are working, surely the pump should be too unless, as potentially suspected, the pump is dead.

I expected a dedicated display for the pump. Since fans and the pump share the same header, the fan speed appears on the same screen. Can the fans be removed entirely so only the pump reads its RPM?

The Arctic AIOs feature splitters, though it seems the VRM fan and pump share the same circuit and cable. The fans can be managed individually.

Checked by turning off the fans and still getting no response from either CPU fan connector, though the VRM fan remains active. This setting isn’t visible in the system, which would be useful. The only connection is the one at the bottom of the radiator leading to the three fans and another from the block/pump to the header.

The components in my 240mm Liquid Freezer II were hidden among the fans; you need to remove the fan screws to access them properly.
