I own an EVGA GTX 760 SC and an AMD Phenom ii X6 1090t. (I’m aware it’s quite outdated) I’m experiencing unplayable frame rates in Valorant. The game worked well before, but now it’s running poorly. I’m certain the graphics card is fine since it performs better in other titles, not just Valorant. I’ve heard it’s CPU-intensive, so I suspect there might be an issue with my processor. I plan to upgrade my CPU later this year, but I need something temporary to help it along.

It seems like the processor is likely outdated. It might be due to silicon wear and tear.

Are the temperatures looking okay? It might be a good idea to replace some paste and pads on the GPU and CPU.
