Your laptop (AsusPro B944ua) is operating at full CPU capacity while Chrome consumes up to 40% of resources at any moment. It seems the system is under heavy load, possibly due to background processes or resource-heavy applications. Consider checking for updates, closing unnecessary programs, or upgrading hardware if performance continues to degrade. The Arco tray can handle multiple instances smoothly, but persistent interrupts suggest a deeper issue that may require further investigation.

It seems the file acrotray.exe is actually part of Adobe Reader, but because it launches many background instances it resembles a potential threat. Do you have an antivirus program installed? If not, it might be wise to save your files and reinstall Windows.

I employ BitDefender for scanning, and the results show no malicious software detected. It's unclear how a virus could reach my system since my port is secured and my university network has multiple layers of protection against threats.
