Hello, I'm reaching out about my old Ryzen 7 5800X that stopped working despite my PC still running with the Ryzen 5 2600. After getting a new CPU and installing it, the issue persists. I've already contacted AMD for help, but do you have any ideas on what might be causing the problem? My motherboard is an Aorus X570 Elite with the latest BIOS update.
Looking for help with a power supply problem. Could you share more details about your system specifications?
"Not working" means the issue persists despite checking components or performing basic steps. Have you verified the RAM installation, cleared the CMOS, or tried a different approach?
I brought back a really grumpy i3 that had been idle for two years by cleaning and re-seating the DIMMs. Also, my 5900X crashed completely when under heavy stress and caused me serious concern. It took me around fifteen minutes to figure it out, but I attempted removing the DIMMs, disposing of them, and clearing the slots before putting them back. No more problems. It might also be that your 5800X has decided it no longer tolerates your RAM. Have you looked at your DOCP and clock speeds?
After installing the 5800X and turning it on, every fan spins fully while the screen fails to display any input.
