Hello everyone, I’m facing a serious problem. Recently I upgraded my BIOS to version F6a, but my PC keeps crashing repeatedly. About 15 minutes after booting into Windows, the screen starts scanning and then goes black instantly. The machine also stops responding, sound cuts out, and I have to press the power button to shut it down. Oddly enough, this happened even though I never experienced problems with the previous BIOS version, which is no longer available on the manufacturer’s site. I tried switching to BIOS F5, but the issue persists. The system crashed during BIOS setup before I could restore EXPO. After a restart, it still crashes within a couple of minutes of starting Windows. It seems the problem isn’t tied to Windows itself. I was thinking about reinstalling Windows, but I’m unsure if that would help. Here are my details: Motherboard – Gigabyte AORUS ELITE AX B650 CPU – AMD 7800X3D BIOS – currently F6a (crash began here), then switched to F5 but crashes continue. The rest of the system info is available online. I’ve tried updating chipset, GPU drivers, Windows updates, checked connections, and monitored temperatures. Installed F6a again and even the alternative version F5 didn’t fix it. Should I remove the CMOS battery or reinstall Windows? It’s possible this isn’t just a BIOS issue; I’m not sure how to proceed. Ensure the CPU is validated on a different platform or motherboard.
