Hello everyone, I’m using a 2020 MacBook Pro. (Details are listed at the bottom.) Each day I face kernel panics, crashes, and strange graphics problems after turning it on. I’m quite concerned about my device since I’m unsure what’s wrong. This is my first time with macOS. My Mac froze completely, had to power it off, and when I restarted it, it booted into Big Sur but the screen was very distorted—glitchy wallpaper, no login option. I tried turning it back on several times, then it went to recovery and asked about activation. It said my Mac is already activated. I’m really worried and don’t want to spend money on a new one. Specs: 13-inch MacBook Pro (2020), Quad Core Intel i5, 16GB RAM, Iris graphics, 1536MB.

If it's recently installed and the system is struggling, there are a few steps you can take. Have you performed simple diagnostics? (Press and hold the power button after pressing D). This usually provides limited information, but on a new Mac with kernel issues, it’s worth investigating. You can also use First Aid through Disk Utility (either in OS or recovery, though recovery is preferred). In the console, you may find kernel panic logs, which can be useful if the problem occurs during operation.

I bought it recently. The graphics issue suggests there might be a RAM problem.
